America’s new cash cow: The everyday American

I would like to start this article by saying i love my country, i love the ideas and philosophy that America has inspired.

We no longer live in that America.  The America today has boiled down to the bottom line of an expense report.  That is all that matters on a day to day basis in our country. The federal government started this trend and state and local governments have followed suit.  All three phases of government are consistently coming up with new ways to get your money. below are just a few examples of what i am speaking of.

JOBS:  nothing new here they just take out state and federal taxes + social security and insurance.

CARS: Now the government owns general motors which makes almost all domestic cars, now if you have a car you have to put gas in it, so they have a gasoline tax, of course if you plan to drive that car anywhere but your driveway you’ll need to register the car {for a  fee}, get the car inspected{for a  fee}, and then you must get the car insured {for a fee}. ok now that you have all of that done you had better not violate any rules set fourth by the state or you will fined for more of your money.

HOUSING: Now that the government has givin’  UNLIMITED  bail-out coverage to fanny mae and freddy mac it will only get worse, why is this important? Because fanny mae and freddy mac are the companies a person goes to for a home loan.  Now the government has a “by proxy entity” to set new standards for new house tax’s. depending on which state you live in there are already sales tax and property tax’s that go along with it. Not to mention the annual yearly tax’s that a home owner must pay.

EDUCATION: It has never cost more to send you child to school. from 1st grade to college, the cost has went up dramatically over the past 10-15 years. In those 10-15 years the value of the education our children receive is at it’s lowest since the great depression. In some states if the child has unexcused absences the state can FINE  the parent up to 500 dollars.

HEALTHCARE:  Today the government attempting and may very well nationalize the healthcare system. So there will soon be a healthcare tax. Also if a employer fails to provide his employees with healthcare they will be fined.  that is a very short step away from the mandating that every american carry healthcare or else face a still fine.

COMSUMABLES: The government has been taxing cigarettes and beer for a long time already, but it is now that they are  attempting to tax soda, candy, and many other sweet or otherwise unhealthy foods. Before long you will spend 8 bucks for a twinkie.

So those are just some of the taxes on the surface of everyday americans. now some of you will ask me ” but Karma, i don’t really have that much money and i cant afford most of those things that are listed there anyways so i am in the clear right?”….NO you would not be in the clear, because once you fail to pay any of those fines a warrant will be issued for your arrest.  Now not many people know this but city, county and state jails are funded by the number of people who are incarcerated.  So the more people arrested equals a bigger budget. Does that bigger budget mean better care for the inmates, absolutely not. In Arizona the cost to feed an inmate is 50 cents a day, the cost to feed the dogs at the prison….1 dollar per day. Incarceration has become such a big buisness that private company’s run a large percentage of our prison system. Private companies are only interested in one thing and that’s the bottom line.
